?php the_title(); ?

The Dadawadi Shwetambar Temple offers a tranquil experience in the heart of the city. This temple is dedicated to the Svetambara sect of the Jain community. With a history spanning 140 years, the temple is a testament to the enduring faith of the Jain community. This ancient temple was constructed by a Rajasthan-based family, and its architectural style draws inspiration from the rich heritage of Rajasthani architecture. The Dadawadi Shwetambar Temple extends its hospitality with a Bhojanshala where visitors can partake in sanctified Jain food. The temple features a collection of exquisite statues, including Bhagwan Parshwanath, Nakoda Bhairav, Lord Mahavira, Goddess Lakshmi, and even a miniature representation of Palitana, a renowned Jain pilgrimage site. It also practices Jain rituals that purify its practitioners and promote detachment from worldly desires. Some of these encourage compassion towards all living beings and pave the way for a deeper understanding of the true nature of the soul.
